Sr. Web Developer for WebFirst, Inc. May telecommute but reports to our Kensington, MD HQ loc.
Develop enterprise solutions based on Drupal and open-source technologies. Projects could include: enterprise content management, business process / tracking systems, medical research related search engines, and research databases. For web and mobile projects, responsible for all phases of software lifecycle (both agile and waterfall): Analysis; Database design; Coding; Testing; Maintenance. Technology examples include: Drupal, WordPress, PHP/MySQL; React/Node/MERN, Javascript, HTML/CSS. Lead teams and work w/ development team (adhere to coding standards and performing pull requests). Communicate directly with product owners and other stakeholders regarding user reqs. Estimate level of effort for development projects. Drupal Development tasks include: theming and back-end Drupal module development. LAMP (PHP) / MySQL development. Moderate to Advanced search engine development. Drupal Theming. Mobile App Development including responsive design. SQL / Query building. Integrate solutions with 3rd–party contrib modules.
Must pass proprietary Drupal Coding Exam.
Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci, Management Info Syst, or rel field and 4 yrs relevant web development exp. Also req the following skills: (3 yrs exp) in Drupal development; DevOps; Cybersecurity.
